We are a team of AI engineers, software developers, and ESG domain experts focused exclusively on building safe, reliable, and fit-for-purpose AI for ESG data analysis, verification, and interpretation.
Briink was founded by Tomas van der Heijden and Samuel King, combining deep experience in AI product development with a strong understanding of regulated, high-integrity domains.

Our founders
Previously worked as a renewable energy M&A lawyer at Stikeman Elliott LLP and later served as VP of Product at ROSS Intelligence, a Y Combinator–backed company pioneering large language models for legal workflows. His background bridges regulated industries, product development, and applied AI.
Brings over a decade of experience in data analytics and AI. Previously led data science teams at an AI consultancy, holds degrees from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc in Big Data. Also serves as a strategic advisor to Climate Change AI.
